Laurea specialistica in Ingegneria Informatica presso il Politecnico di Torino. Esame di Stato di Abilitazione all’esercizio della professione di Ingegnere.

Dal 2010 è Responsabile dell'Unita di ricerca "IS4AC (Infrastructure Systems for Advanced Computing " dove svolge attività di ricerca applicata legate ai sistemi ed infrastrutture di grid e cloud computing. Il settore principale di attività riguarda le infrastrutture di calcolo per e-Science Applications. Le tematiche investigate riguardano più in specifico la virtualizzazione, i database in real application cluster, la schedulazione di processi su infrastrutture grid e cloud, la creazione di modelli infrastrutturali ibridi e l'implementazione di grid virtuali in ambiente cloud.

Dal 2004 al 2009 è sato ricercatore all’Interno del laboratorio di e-security su tematiche di protocolli p2p, crittografia su embedded device, sicurezza di protocolli di routing. E’ organizzatore di workshop a conferenza , membro come Associate Editor del International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing (IJGUC). E membro come IPC all’International Workshop on Scalable Optimisation In Intelligent Networking e reviewer a ICNS, CISIS e ICEME.

Since 2010, Head of the Research Unit "IS4AC (Infrastructure Systems for Advanced Computing", research activities are related to grid and cloud computing systems infrastructures. The main area of activity concerns the computing infrastructures for e-Science Applications. The principal research investigation are: virtualization, databases on real application clusters, scheduling of processes on grids and cloud infrastructure, study and creation of hybrid infrastructure models, virtual grid in the cloud.

From 2004 to 2009 researcher in the e-security laboratory, mainly with a focus on P2P protocols, encryption on embedded devices, security of routing protocols and activities on grid computing infrastructures. Workshop organizer on conference, Associate Editor member of the International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing (IJGUC). IPC member of the International Workshop on Scalable Optimisation In Intelligent Networking and peer reviewer in ICNS and CISIS conferences.
