Mikhail Simonov. Dottore di Ricerca (con merito) in Ingegneria Elettrica presso il Politecnico di Milano. La tesi nel contesto smart grid intitolata “Ubiquitous Near-Energy Services in Extended Entities as an opportunity for Energy Efficiency and Security”. M.Sc. (Dr.-Ing.) in Mathematica Applicata/ICT ottenuto presso l’Università Statale M. Lomonosov di Mosca su tematica relativa alla cognizione artificiale. Ha insegnato in una scuola, ha lavorato come ingegnere nelle aree Space, Air-traffic control, Industrial automation ed ICT.

Dopo uno stage in management consultancy presso la Bain, ha lavorato nei settori Finance, Insurance, ed Industria Software. Ha operato come CTO, Project leader e manager per più di 10 anni nei contesti internazionali. Parla diverse lingue ed ha la qualifica dell’interprete traduttore. Dopo la lunga esperienza industriale ed executive, svolge le attività di Ricerca e Sviluppo. Ha partecipato in Industrial Advisory Board di alcuni progetti. Ha operato come Chair ed Panelist. Ha numerose pubblicazioni nelle prestigiose testate internazionali scientifiche. Assiste alcune case editrici internazionali e la Communità Europea in qualità di peer-reviewer.

Le aree di competenza ed esperienza comprendono ICT, knowledge engineering, artificial cognitione, electric engineering, renewable energy, oltre all'uso delle nuove tecnologie applicate ai domini financehealthcare ed energy.

Mikhail Simonov. Ms.C. in Applied Mathematics/ICT obtained from Moscow State University on artificial cognition related topic. He worked as high school teacher, as engineer in Space, Air-traffic control, Industrial automation and ICT areas.

He attended a stage in management consultancy at Bain, worked in Financial and Insurance companies, and Software Industries. He was CTO, Project leader and manager for more than 10 years in international contexts. Speaks several languages. After a long experience in application projects and executive tasks, he performs R&D activities. He participated in Industrial Advisory Board of some projects, Chair and invited Panelist. He published several peer-reviewed scientific results. He serves some publishers as peer-reviewer and assists EC as an independent expert.
