MACP4Log Project

The Oct. 19 closing workshop was held on the project MACP4Log (Mobile Autonomous and Cooperating robotic Platforms for supervision and monitoring of large LOGistic surfaces) .

MACP4LOG is a research project financed by the Piedmont Regional Authority (CIPE), in cooperation with Politecnico di Torino and ERXA. The project concerns the study and development of a cooperative robotics solution as an aid for logistics. In MACP4Log, ISMB is studying wireless communication solutions between robots, supplementing services transmitted for specific application with emerging mesh solutions. The project proposes to exploit WiFi signal (in particular its received power) also to solve the issue of indoor positioning.
