The first two operational satellites of Galileo were launched

On the 21th of October, the first two operational satellites of Galileo, the European Global Navigation Satellite System, were launched from Kourou (French Guiana).

This is a milestone for Europe and for the international scientific community. ISMB researchers are ready to receive the first Galileo signal using N-Gene, the software radio receiver developed in the Navigation Technology research area.
