It is a project focused on the application of EGNOS/GNSS (and later Galileo) to road transport through an appropriate integration and data fusion with data coming from other measuring instruments.

The scope of the ERSEC project covers the study and development of the ERSEC measuring system and two demonstrators. The project is funded by EC under the 7th Framework Program and it is led by EICAS Automazione S.p.A. NavSAS contributes to the definition of the system architecture, to EGNOS/EDAS integration, to definition of the GIS strategies (shape files management) and to field tests.
