GILD Project Workshop in Vietnam

Gabriella Povero from the Navigation Technologies Research Area is in Hanoi, Vietnam, to present the activities carried on during the GILD - GNSS Interference and Jamming Localisation and Detection in Vietnam - project in 2017.

On November 21, she provided an overview on satellite navigation technology for ITS and potential threats (“Global Navigation Satellite Systems for Intelligent Transport Systems: threats and countermeasures”) at the 1st Italy – Vietnam Conference on Science and Technology, that took place at the Ministry of Science and Technology in Hanoi. 

On November 30, she will open and participate in the Gild Workshop On Resilient Gnss: Current Status And Solutions In Vietnam And The World, a one day workshop that will present the research about Interference and Jamming carried on during the GILD project and the first results obtained in Vietnam. Micaela Troglia Gamba, also from Navigation Technologies Research Area, will provide the presentation “NGeneApp: Mapping the Interference Sources in Real-time using a Smartphone’s App”.

GILD is a project co-funded by the Italian Foreign Ministry with the aim of studying the Interference and jamming threats to Intelligent Transport System applications
