ISMB and the I-REACT Project in Helsinki

20 June 2017

Claudio Rossi, researcher of the Mobile Solutions Area, is participating in the European GEO Workshop 2017 in Helsinki, where it will be presented the infographic poster of the European project I-REACT, officially included in the program.

The workshop is the occasion to exchange ideas with the other projects leaders with the aim of identifying new opportunities for future planning and gather additional information in the context of GEOSS.

On June 21 and 22, three members of the Mobile Solutions Research Area will meet the other partners of the I-REACT Consortium in Helsinki for the implementation review project meeting.

I-REACT (Improved Resilience to Emergencies through Advanced Cyber Technologies) is a H2020 project coordinated by ISMB involving a consortium of 20 partners. The project aims to implement an integrated platform that, thanks to advanced technologies, will be able to collect, analyze and generate various data sources to generate real-time information on floods, fires, earthquakes and extreme weather events to improve emergency management and to make society more resilient during natural disasters.
