OPERA project: in Scotland to present the innovation of the developed platform

13 July 2016

Alberto Scionti, of the Infrastructures and Systems for Advanced Computing (IS4AC) Research Unit, will attend the event organized in Cumbernauld (Scotland, UK), within the EU project OPERA (LOw Power Heterogeneous Architecture for NExt Generation of SmaRt Infrastructure and Platforms in Industrial and Societal Applications).

The event regards the potential innovation of low-power systems developed in the project and there will be a discussion about an innovation strategy for applying developed technologies in different scenarios and industrial context, as well as in new markets.
The IS4AC Unit will investigate on the opportunity of applying such technologies (high-performance and low-power computing platforms) in the context of BigData applications.
The event will be attended by important industrial players such as Nallatech Ltd, Teseo, and HPE.
