ISMB hosts TRITON Integration Readiness Review Meeting

On September 24th and 25th, ISMB hosts the Integration Readiness Review (IRR) of the TRusted vessel Information from Trusted On-board iNstrumentation (TRITON) project, focused on the presentation and the test of TRITON prototypes. During the first part of the meeting researchers from ISMB, Acorde and 7iG will run basic functional tests on the prototype modules developed during the project, while the second day will be dedicated to functional tests on the integrated prototype.

TRITON is an R&D project funded by the European Union trough the Seventh Framework Programme whose aim is to increase the trustworthiness of on-board instrumentation used to report vessel information to the control organisms. The project is coordinated by Marco Pini and involves the Navigation Technologies and Multi-Layer Wireless Solutions Research Areas from ISMB, whereas the partnership is composed by Kongsberg Norcontrol IT AS (Norway), Acorde Technologies SA (Spain), 7I Group AB (Sweden), Alpha Consultants SRL (Italy), Granturco and Partners SPRL (Belgium).
