CLOUDTECH 2015: Presentation of a Contribution on FLOODIS Project and Cloud Computing

Between the 2nd and 4th of June will take place in Marrakesh, Morocco, the IEEE CLOUDTECH 2015 international conference. The event will address topics related to Cloud technologies, architecture and applications including distributed computing and data centers, cloud infrastructure and its security, end-user services. The conference will provide a high-level, international forum for scientists, researchers, professionals and students who will have the opportunity to present state-of-the-art research results, address new challenges, and discuss trends in Cloud technology and applications.

On the 3rd of June, Claudio Rossi, a researcher of the Mobile Solutions Area and part of the Technical Program Committee (TPC) of the conference, will present the paper entitled “Evaluating FLOODIS: Mobile Sensing for a Flood Emergency Service in the Cloud”, which describes the Cloud computing back-end that implements the Service Layer and Decision Support System (DSS) of the FLOODIS European project led by ISMB, evaluating its performance at scale, with a big number of simultaneous users.
