LACE Will Be a Major Player at EuCAP 2015, the European Conference on Antennas and Propagation

9 April 2015

Some researchers of the Antenna and EMC Unit (LACE), part of the Advanced Computing & Electromagnetics Area, will take part in the 9th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP), which will be held in Lisbon (Portugal) from 12th to 17th April 2015. The event is organized each year since 2006 by the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EuAAP) and provides an excellent overview of the current state-of-the-art in antennas, propagation and measurements, and it shows the latest developments and novelties required for future applications.

At the conference our researchers will present 5 contributions showing recent developments obtained by LACE in the field of antenna and Computational Electromagnetics (CEM). Some of them (the first two papers listed below) describe works carried on together with other organizations for ESA-funded projects, while the others mainly focus on research activities conducted within the group.

Papers to be presented during EuCAP 2015:
M. A. Francavilla, G. Giordanengo, M. Righero, G. Vecchi, and F. Vipiana “Physics-based parametric interpolation
G. Giordanengo, F. Vipiana, L. J. Foged, F. Saccardi, F. Mioc, M. Bandinelli, M. Bercigli, M. Sabbadini, and G. Vecchi “Combined NF Antenna Simulation/Measurement for Fast Testing
M. A. Francavilla, M. Righero, G. Vecchi, and F. Vipiana “Macro-basis functions for electromagnetic modelling of penetrable and impenetrable bodies
M. A. Echeverri Bautista, F. Vipiana, M. A. Francavilla, and G. Vecchi “Domain Decomposition Method for Integral Equations Using Non-Conformal Meshing
