MLW Research Area Will Present a Contribution on Webinos at PECCS 2015

10 February 2015

Paolo Vergori, a researcher at the Multy-Layer Wireless Solutions Area, will attend the 5th International Conference on Pervasive and Embedded Computing and Communication Systems (PECCS), that will take place in Anger (France), from 11th to 13th of February. It represents one of the most important events on mobile and pervasive computing, digital signal processing and embedded systems design.

Within the session focused on mobile and pervasive computing, he will present the paper named "A Multimodal User Interface Using the Webinos Platform to Connect a Smart Input Device to the Web of Things".

The EU-funded Webinos project involved more than 30 partners – among which ISMB - and it delivered an open source platform and software components for the Future Internet in the form of Web runtime extensions, enabling Web applications and services to be used and shared consistently and securely over a broad spectrum of converged and connected devices, including mobile, PC, home media (TV) and in-car units.
