ISMB participating at WiMob 2014

2 October 2014

ISMB will participate in the 10th IEEE International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Computing, Networking and Communications (WiMob), that will take place in Larnaca (Cyprus), from October 8th to 10th, 2014.

The IEEE WiMob is an international forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience among researchers, developers and practitioners of wireless and mobile technology. For nine years, the event has provided unique opportunities to interact, share new results, show live demonstrations, and discuss emerging directions in wireless communications, mobile networking and ubiquitous computing.

In particular, Maria Teresa Delgado, on behalf of the Pervasive Technologies Research Area, will present the paper “Packet-Loss Modelling for Multi-Radio Wireless Sensor Networks”, during the session on wireless communications that will take place on 10th October. The contribution is realized within GreenCom, the European project coordinated by Maurizio Spirito (ISMB) - that aims to better manage (at microgrid level) the consumption, the production and the distribution of electricity, balancing the energy supplied by the network and the energy generated from renewable sources.
