New Focus on the TRITON Project at the IEEE JISIC 2014

17 September 2014

After the recent participation at the International Symposium Integrated Ship's Information Systems (ISIS) focusing on the TRusted vessel Information from Trusted On-board iNstrumentation (TRITON) project, ISMB will promote the project also at the IEEE Joint Intelligence and Security Informatics Conference (JISIC). JISIC – taking place from 24th to 26th of September in the Hague (the Netherlands) – is the first joint international and European event on ICT for intelligence and security, set up by combining together two world leading conferences on this research field.

The Multi-Layer Wireless Solutions (MLW) Research Area will take part in the event presenting a paper* which deals with the activities of the TRITON project on security aspects of positioning and communication systems in the maritime domain. The project is coordinated by Marco Pini, head of the Navigation Technologies Research Area, and it involves his research team. In particular, ISMB will illustrate the project objectives and the prototypes that will be developed.
