ISMB Meets PUSH to Discuss the Future Steps of the TrafficO2 Project

15 September 2014

On 16th and the 17th of September 2014 ISMB headquarters will host the kick-off meeting that ushers in the second year of collaboration between the Institute and the Sicilian civic startup PUSH.

Drawing on the remarkable results achieved during the first year of the partnership, Business Model & Policy Innovation and Infrastructures & Systems for Advanced Computing Research Units will meet the management team of PUSH in order to shape the development roadmap of the eco-urban mobility TraffiCO2 project, funded by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research under the umbrella of the “Smart Cities and Communities and Social Innovation” call.

The two-day meeting to be held in Turin will focus on the delineation of strategies – driven by scalability, replicability and economic sustainability – to tap market opportunities after the grant period. To this end, the contribution brought by ISMB will be framed around both strategic (business development of startups for social good) and technological (development of an ‘elastic’ cloud-based computer infrastructure) expertises.
