Presentation of the CloudCem Project Results at INCoS 2014

4 September 2014

The Advanced Computing and Electromagnetics Research Area will attend at the 6th International Conference on Intelligent Networking andCollaborative Systems (INCoS), which will be held in Salerno (Italy) from 10 to 12 of September, 2014. The event is technically supported by the IEEE Systems Man & Cybernetics and endorsed by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech and the Fukuoka Institute of Technology.

INCoS 2014 covers the latest advances in intelligent and adaptive solutions for social networks and collaborative systems. The ultimate aim is to stimulate research that will lead to the creation of responsive environments for networking and, at longer-term, the development of adaptive, secure, mobile, and intuitive intelligent systems for collaborative work and learning.

Within the “Cloud Computing Project and Initiatives” (CCPI) Workshop, organized by the Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli, ISMB will present a paper* dealing with the results of the Cloud Fast Scalable EM Modeling (CloudCEM) project, which was funded by the Polo ICT.

During the workshop a hybrid Cloud Computing infrastructure, allowing a rapid and cost-effective simulation of electromagnetic effects on a very complex structure, will be presented. In order to validate the CloudCEM platform, the project partners implemented an automotive and an aerospace demonstrator.
