ISMB and POLITO Will Fly to Vienna for Smart Energy Research Activities

ISMB and the Politecnico di Torino will meet the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) to define a unified research protocol in the smart energy field. The trilateral meeting will be held at the premises of AIT (in Vienna) on Tuesday, the 13th of May.
During the meeting the responsible for the District Heating and Cooling Networks at AIT, together with the head of the Smart Energy Strategic Program at ISMB and a representative of the Energy Department of Politecnico di Torino, will discuss about energy, district heating and ICT, with the final aim of identifying a common research framework. The involved research institutions are already partners in different initiatives financed by the European Commission.

Moreover, the Institute and the Politecnico di Torino will partecipate at the periodic Steering Committe of the DHC+ platform, which will take place on Wednesday, the 14th of May, at the premises of the Austrian Institute of Technology.
Representative from industry, academia and district heating operators will discuss on the current and future DHC+ activities, on high-level education and on the role of district heating in the smart cities.
