BUTLER PROJECT: new developments for the smart health domain

Francesco Sottile and Federico Rizzo, two researchers of the Pervasive Technologies Research Area, will participate in an integration meeting of the BUTLER project in Bilbao at the headquarters of Tecnalia, from 6 to 7 May 2014.

The objective of the meeting is to integrate some modules of an ICT system to be used for an application focused on the smart health domain. In particular, an indoor localization system based on short-range wireless networks developed by ISMB will be integrated with a wearable fall detection system for patients (developed by Tecnalia). Subsequently, the integrated system will be used by Tecnalia to perform field trials in Bilbao.
