Live/demo poster presentation at ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security

The ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS), held from 4 to 8 November in Berlin, is the flagship annual conference of the Special Interest Group on Security, Audit and Control (SIGSAC) of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).

The conference brings together information security researchers, practitioners, developers, and users from all over the world to explore cutting-edge ideas and results. It provides an environment to conduct intellectual discussions. From its inception, CCS has established itself as a high standard research conference in its area.

During the conference our researcher Prabhakaran Kasinathan from PerT Research Area, presents a Poster /DEMO titled "DEMO: An IDS Framework for Internet of Things Empowered by 6LoWPAN" made by Prabhakaran Kasinathan, Gianfranco Costamagna, Hussein Khaleel, Claudio Pastrone, Maurizio A. Spirito. This work is done as part of EU project EBBITS . He presents a live demonstration of our proposed Intrusion Detection System (IDS) framework developed for 6LoWPAN networks which is one of the important technologies supporting Internet of Things. To test the proposed system, real attacks were initiated and some preliminary test results were presented.
